内容 提要：本文对民办高校教师基本权利的概念、内函做了一般性的 理论 阐释，指出民办教师在培养人才的基础性作用是全 社会 公认的，民办教师的合法权益必须依法予以保护。
关键词：民办教师权利、 法律 保护、法律救济 党的十六大报告指出：“必须尊重劳动、尊重知识、尊重人才、尊重创造，这要作为党和国家的一项方针在全社会认真贯彻”。
