home education, or home schooling, is a phenomenon which is both old and now. it may seem to many like a strange idea, but years ago, it was the norm. george washington and abraham lincoln both received their education at home. and there is a growing trend for children to be educated at home. an estimated two million american children, one source says, are taught in their own homes instead of going to regular schools. the number of support groups, magazines and other resources for home-schooling families is also on the rise. being comparatively rare cases in china, home schooling is repeatedly reported as an attractive and promising alternative.
parents who decide to home-school are not without reasons. many may worry about the quality of education at regular schools. they want to tailor the education of their children to their intelligence and aptitude. they prefer to choose the subjects on their own. they also think caring parents make the best teachers. studies show that many home-schooled children really do very benefits of home schooling are obvious. but educating kids at home may not be the right choice for all families. it may not be practical, and dose not constitute an important approach to children computer aided education more and more available and effective, school education has advantages home education can never catch up with. no family has resources which is adequate for modern education. parents, althoug they are most caring, cannot be competent and qualified as trained teachers. a most discouraging fact is that children taught at home and do not go out to schools will develop strange characteristics which will eventually hinder them when they go out to society. they are sure to lack ability and skills to cope with various intricate relationships which cannot not be acquired through home education environment. and they will end up as crippled.

Students,whether they be small children or college boys,or even post graduates,are oriented to the passing of a disgustingly variety of tests/examinations. How often (virtually every night) do we see first graders bending for hours over homework,the sole purpose of which is to have high scores in exams so that they might go to better middle and high schools. When they are in high schools,things get will be still more exhausted preparing for the college entrance the toiling circle does not stop here. They will worry about further examination results determine one's future. Under such influence everything can be sacrificed,including the students' health,parents' money,and most importantly,the quality of education,by which i mean genuine knowledge and skills which can not and should not be tested with exam scores.
The outcome of such faults in the educational policy,although not intended,is that so many a student becomes sort of expert at doing exams and scores they are not competent when they take up their careers. Such is the tragedy of the present may not admit the disturbing situation,but as an educator myself,i hold the issue self-evident. Things will have to be done to reverse the trend.

Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It's indeed a helpful complement to the traditional educational means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways to learn. Most of all, with online education, we can stick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge.

My first Job before I started at university,I took my first job as a waitress in a nice the night before my first was too excited to go to sleep and as a result,I got up late in the threw on my clothes and rushed over to the a great hurry,I didn't hear clearly the head waiter's instruction that we should go into the kitchen through one door and out from the when I took two plates of eggs and bacon and an orange juice out to the restaurant,I went straight towards the wrong door and collided with another waiter coming in!Worst of all was that I wore a pair of smart shoes but with high heels! A few hours later I was in agony yet had no time to change them. By the time we finished serving dinner at about 10:30 I was completely exhausted. Nevertheless, I learnt something through my experience.

俗话说：“机不可失，失不再来。”我们的人生就充满了机遇。所谓“时势造英雄”就能够说明机遇对人一生的影响之大了。法国著名的幻想小说家凡尔纳18岁时，在巴黎学习法律。有一次，他参加一个上流人士的晚会。当他从楼上向下走时，童心未泯的凡尔纳像个孩子一样从楼梯扶手向下滑，结果撞在了一个胖胖的绅士样的人身上。这个人就是大仲马。二人从此便相识了，成为了好朋友。凡尔纳由于抓住了这个不是机遇的机遇，走上了文学创作之路，成为了法国的“科学幻想之父”。
现在想想，如果当初凡尔纳与大仲马相撞后，仅仅是道一句歉，没有攀谈，相信凡尔纳一生都只会是一个默默无闻的小律师。可见，成功地抓住了一个机遇对一个人一生的影响是多么的大!成功地抓住了机遇，就等于将自己的命运紧紧地攥在了手里。
然而，机遇对每个人都是公平的有些人抓住了，有些人抓不住;有些人发现了，有些人茫然无知;有些人在不断创造机会，有些人在苦苦等待机会。对此，我更欣赏前者。
其实，机遇是可以创造的。在经过一段艰苦卓绝的奋斗后，良机便会赫然出现，这也是能力到了一定的积累后质的飞跃。机遇不喜欢懒汉，也不欣赏投机者，机遇总伴随着勤奋努力的人，不断开拓的人，持之以恒的人，力求创新的人。所以，让我们做一个机遇的创造者，并抓住机遇，扼住自己命运的喉咙，开创属于自己的人生。
机，就是天赐时机;遇，就是我们去闯荡，去感受，去把握。老天爷是公平的，一棵草一颗露珠;天无绝人之路。人生路上，我们会有很多次机遇，或当官，或发财，或发明创造……抓住一个，你就会成功。问题是，我们绝大部分的人总是与机遇擦身而过却有眼不识金香玉，或者机遇面前有心动无行动;到最后，抱怨老天不公平，认为自己生不逢时。
有机遇就有挑战。打从我们一出生便面临各种挑战：学步时，我们摔得鼻青脸肿，却仍然贴着墙根站起来，继续走;学话时，就算咬到舌头，反复千遍，也要把音念准;上学后，两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书，十多年如一日，放弃了兴趣和爱好;……挑战就是我们遇到的种种困难，我们无法回避，也不应该回避。每战胜一个困难，我们就前进一步，而新的困难又拦在了我们前进的路上，吆喝，叫阵，我们别无选择，我们惟有迎难而上。
成功需要机遇，前进必临挑战。“天将降大任于是人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为。”说的就是这个理。我们人生之路不总是宽路、直路和上坡路，我们时时要面临窄路、弯路甚至是下坡路。宽路、直路和上坡路好比机遇;窄路、弯路、下坡路好比挑战，他们是相伴相生的，正所谓“困难与希望同在，机遇与挑战并存。”
学习上，我们有宽敞明亮的教室，我们有先进的教学设施，我们碰到好老师等，都是机遇，抓住了它们，充分利用了它们，学习就更上一层楼;学习的重担，考试的压力，父母的期望等，可算是挑战，我们正视它们，迎难而上，才可取得学习的硕果。
生活中，朋友的帮助、*的提高、职位的升迁等，都是机遇，牢牢抓住它们，才能向更高的目标发展;日夜的奔波，来自责任、抉择、变迁、人际关系的压力，或疾病的困扰，都是挑战，惟有主动面对它们，才能让生活精*。
总而言之，机遇和挑战是同起同落的。看准机，再去遇;时刻抱有一颗迎接挑战的心是我们在学习、工作、生活中要时刻讲究的技巧。只有这样，我们才能成功，只有这样，我们才能成英雄。
