首先，是麦饼的工艺。麦饼看起来像普通的煎饼，但往往难以做好，关键就在和面的软硬上，没一点功夫可是掌握不好的哦！先抓一团面，包入陷，再擀成饼，上锅煎。然后用筷子挑一个洞，如果面和得太软，挑不起来；太硬，有合不回去。嘿！可真是有点麻烦啊！
其次，是麦饼的味道。刚出锅的麦饼滑嫩爽口，葱香四溢。轻轻尝一口，咸咸的，香香的，令人越吃越想吃！夏天，沏一壶茶，摇着扇子，尝着麦饼，可真是一个不错的选择呀！
其实，这些都不是麦饼最让我喜欢的地方呢！麦饼最吸引我的地方就是因为它像临海的人民一样质朴无华。它不像过油肉一样有名，它也不像蟹黄小笼包般的高贵。它只是临海人民的看家小吃，它虽然没有名气，但却是临海人民最喜欢、最喜爱的小吃呢！
