（一）用英语教学
以往的教学中采用的是以汉语为媒介的翻译式教学，这增强了学生对汉语的依赖性，学生的学习也是以汉语为媒体的翻译式学习法，这不符合语言学习规律，而学生所学到的也只能是汉化的英语，这些都不利于学生英语思维习惯的养成。因此，我们要尽量用英语教学，让学生置身于浓郁的英语氛围中，这样学生自然也会积极地用英语思维，用英语来发表个人见解进行广泛的交流。一方面教师要用英语教学，遇到疑难问题，也尽量用英语来解释，这样学生也可以用英语来理解。此外，用英语来解释英语，教学更具合理性，更利于学生理解。另一方面，教师要鼓励学生用英语。对于教师提出的各种问题，我们也要鼓励学生用英语来回答。对于不同层次的学生提出不同层次的问题，鼓励全体学生用英语来回答，从而形成一种全体学生说英语、用英语的优良风气。进而使学生养成用英语思维的良好习惯。

三、加强口语训练是进行口语教学的核心
