家附近有一个画室，我曾经一下课就背上书包迫不及待地朝那边跑。坐在画板前，拿出画笔兴冲冲地挥洒，一坐就是几个小时。
小学时还不知道什么是精密的构图，讲究的线条，只顾着随心所欲地涂上浓墨的蓝天与平淡的白云，画室里的一位老画家总是笑眯眯地抽着烟看着我画。那画画的时光慵懒而自在，亦如我那一晃而过的六年小学时光。
上了初中，去画室的时间就少了，即使去也是来也匆匆去也匆匆。时间怎么那么不够用呢？那位老画家肯定也注意到那位曾经的小女孩的笑脸已经消失，而这位闯入的大女孩显得郁闷而急躁。他仍是笑着，抽着烟，看着我在画板前拿出画笔。
初中的学业困扰得我焦头烂额，甚至感觉这种可怕的咒诅已经潜入我的笔尖，融入我的每一管颜料里面。每一笔下去似乎都成了歪斜的符号，设想中的构图在纸上也变得颠三倒四起来。一张一张的画纸，被我撕毁，砸到地上。我的心浮气躁一定被老画家觉察到了，他抽着烟，慢慢挪了过来。
“什么都不顺心！”我向他抱怨道，“初中的一切都跟我过不去。现在连画幅画都画不好了！”
他点点头，拿出一幅他自己作的画让我看。第一眼看去，那幅线条作品真是令我折服，而仔细去观察它上面的每一部分，也惊讶地发现每一根线条的走向是如此的简单朴素，但构成一个整体却无比震撼。“我在画画的时候，从不刻意地固定它的构图，而是认真地画好，画对它的每一根线条”，老画家说，“画画，学业乃至成长也是如此，不要太为整体的布局而烦恼，认真、踏实地走好每一步，这就可称为成长的轨迹。”
虽然，之后繁琐的任务让我无暇再去那画室，但画画却在我的心底埋下了根。做事要如作画一般潜心宁静，打基础时要如画线稿一般严谨认真，不能有半点马虎，画画所赋予我的诗意和艺术感至今也藏在我的双瞳之中。老画家告诉如何在画画之中成长的道理我更是不会忘却。
我抚摸着落了灰的画笔，微笑着。固然画笔不能永世相随，但我能带着它给我勾勒的成长路上前进。

其实是我的心在痛，一向自命不凡的我忽然发现自己在数学方面绝对少根筋，两次大考都没及格。同学的眼神，爸妈的问询，老师的催促，我如惊弓之鸟，不知呆在哪儿才好。有时躲在屋里骂自己笨，骂发明数学的人可恨，有时又常常在窗前看看外面的东西，极想把又酸又臭的心情蒸发掉。
马路对面是一所聋哑学校，除了学生有些“特殊”，与其他的学校没什么两样。每次看到聋哑孩子牵着盲孩子的手过马路，盲孩子有“说”有“笑”讲着什么，我的眼睛便开始发酸，也许只有弱者才会真正同情弱者，我们都是弱者，只是“弱”的地方不同罢了。
雨过风停的操场上，聋哑班的孩子在上体育课，他们一圈一圈地跑着，绝没有我们上体育课时的唧唧喳喳。我暗想，他们这样跑，有什么意思呢？即使他们变得很健壮，大自然那美妙的声色之窗也是向他们关上的。后来，他们拔河，两组人拽那根大绳子，没有呐喊的声音，可他们的表情、动作告诉我：他们很努力！我没看出谁赢了，随即便有一组人跳了起来，他们跳跃着，互相的拍打着，脸上是发自内心喜悦的笑容。
我突然意识到：弱者发不出这样的笑，这是强者的笑，是成功者的笑！
好像童话一般，刚刚还乌云密布的天空，霎时变得明朗起来，一道绚丽多姿的彩虹，在阳光的照耀下，给每个孩子都罩上一圈七彩光晕，好美！

“怎么了吗”母亲向我投来疑惑的目光，而我又在匆忙之下胡言乱语的敷衍过去了，待到心情平静的时候，看看桌上——母亲的面前已叠起一小座骨山。
原来，是母亲将一根一根或细小或尖锐的骨刺剔除。
“吃完了吧，休息一下再去学习吧？”
“不了，我进去继续写了。”
“别弄太晚了，早点睡。”
走进房间，我轻轻的关上门，但那一瞬间我看见母亲深邃的眼神，充满慈祥，饱含对我所有的爱。而我，又是有多久没有仔细端详了呢？

一进操场，我就感到难受、刺眼、热的感觉。我无精打采的耷拉着头，像霜打的茄子一样。老师说：“刚才被体育委员叫下来的同学请站到这一边来。”说完老师就指了指塑胶跑道的一条白色线上，我没在意老师的话，就往老师指的方向站到旁边。老师看了看，又严肃的说：“呃……好，这么多同学都给我绕着跑道一直跑到下课为止！”

On the New Year’s Eve, after finishing the dinner, for most Chinese people, they will sit at home, watching the Spring Festival Gala with their families.
The show has been a tradition for us, in our parents’ generation, Spring Festival Gala is popular, even though today many new forms of amusement are invented, which makes the gala less popular, yet the traditional show still wins people’s attention. It has become part of people’s life, most people will open their TV and watch it in the big day.

Liu Xiang: Dark Horse in the Athens Olympics
Liu Xiang, born in 1983 in Shanghai, is a Chinese hurdling athlete.
In 20_, Liu launched his career in fine style by winning the first Grand Prix in Lausanne with a world youth and Asian record time of seconds in the 110 meters hurdles.
He has ever since made the finals at the world major track events. Two of the three cases has seen American hurdling hero Johnson taking the gold mendals, but in the last one in May at Osaka, Liu managed to beat Johnson with an Asian-record time of seconds.
Young as he is, Liu has improved steadily, and won a gold medal at the 20_ Summer Olympics in the 110 meters hurdles event. In the final, he equaled the world record of seconds set in 1993 by Colin Jackson of Wales. This is the first time an athlete of non-African descent has dipped under 13 seconds for the 110 meter hurdles.
