生命是我所想要的，但我所想要的东西有比生命更重要的，所以我不会做苟且偷生的事。重复斟酌此话，突然发现，它很适合某种人群。
生命是他们所想要的，但是他们所想要的东西对他们来说远远比生命更为重要。在这个物欲很流的金钱通行的世界里，他们都只认为，有钱就拥有了一切，为了钱，可以不惜牺牲自己的一切：人生的价值，诚信，尊严，甚至是生命。他们把钱放在了首位，为了钱出卖自己的灵魂，拿生命来开玩笑，以至于不惜以身试法。贪官污吏就是这类人的典型代表，此种人，就是本着生命诚可贵，金钱价更高的原则，认为只要有钱，一切就可以随心所欲了，为了钱，可以不顾一切，奋不顾身，在弘扬法律与道德的虚伪面孔下，藐视法律威严，目无王法的把钱一点一点地往口袋里塞，把生命一点一点地往外不停的拉。他们不是苟且偷生的活着，而是“光明正大”的苟且偷生着，直到枪口对准了脑袋，直到生命走到尽头时，才真正的发现活着是多么的美好，生命是如此的珍贵。不过，一切为时已晚，什么都已经随着时间的脚步流逝了，不能重头再来，只能面对。那就不能再“光明正大”的逍遥法外了，那真是：生亦我所欲，所欲有甚于生者，故不为苟得也。就是想苟得，法律也不允许啊。
“死亦我所恶，所恶有生与死者，故患有所不避也。”
死亡是他们所厌恶的，但他们所厌恶的东西，有比死亡更加可怕的，所以有了灾难，祸患也不躲避。
死亡，是每一个人都厌恶以及害怕的事情，这是不置可否的，可是呢，那些贪官污吏们比起死亡来，恐怕更害怕贫穷吧，不然为什么连违法，犯法都不怕，拼死也要把钱贪呢?他们忌贫如仇，一心只为飞鸿腾达，荣华富贵，他们厌恶贫穷!从前的经济落后，生活条件很差，大家都过着贫困潦倒的生活，所以立志，将来长大了，一定要出人头地，做个生活在上等层次的人。这本是一件好事，可是，人的欲望是永无止境的，当第一次尝到了上层生活富丽堂皇，感觉到了富裕生活的滋润后，贪婪的欲望就愈发的强烈了，这种欲望，把人固有的人性与良知都磨灭了。此刻的他们，恐惧都被埋没了，越贪就越大胆，越大胆就越贪，就这样，一步一步，把自己推向死亡之涯的边缘。
贫穷的概念让他们都忘记了死亡的恐怖，甚至无视了死亡，他们总是想着，不要贫困。为了钱，他们“无私”的放弃了生命。
故患有所不避也。对于他们来说，什么是灾难，那一声声的警笛的尖锐的鸣叫声，就试他们最大的忌讳，最大的灾难，所谓的患。遇到了也不躲避，就是想躲，能往哪里躲呢?这真是应了：死亦我所恶，所恶有甚于死者，故患有所不避也啊。
其实，我本无心把这两句圣贤之语用在这些贪官污吏的身上，可是，细来想想，这些话，却又像是为他们量身定做的一样，比喻的是如此贴切到位，符合他们的形式与作风。或许这是对这两句话的错误的诠释，有人或许会认为这是对孟老夫子的话的玷污，他们根本就配不上，从前这些本来是形容品德高尚的人的话语，现在却用在了他们身上。可是谁会想到呢，现代社会，会窜出了一群贪官污吏们，非把这些“品德”反向的表现在他们身上，本是舍生取义之意，到了他们身上，舍生取财却表现得如此淋漓尽致。即使是对这两句话错误的理解与诠释，却也是他们最贴切的表达啊。

年夜饭定然是一年来最丰盛的一顿。碟碟盘盘密密麻麻地摆了一桌，香气氤氲。而我只是胡乱扒上两口米饭填饱自己的胃袋，便放下筷子，一心只盼天黑。眼见等天色一暗便赶紧催着去放炮。那时的炮仗只不过是街边地头极便宜的小玩意，我却玩得不亦乐乎。惊叹小小的炮仗怎能释放出如此绚丽的焰火?但每每在我玩在兴头上时，爸妈总是催我赶紧上去看“春晚”，我却不应，这一晚同几盒摔炮过，应该会更充实。直到零点的钟声敲响，家人才下楼寻我，点一挂“开门红”，家家户户也应和起来。顿时满城尽带鞭炮声，震耳欲聋，花炮升腾五彩斑斓，整个城市沉浸在一片欢腾声中。
空气里弥漫着过年的香甜气。愈来愈浓。
时光的齿轮飞转。我渐渐长大了，却再也不像从前那样期盼过年了。
姥姥姥爷还是一如既往地做饺子，精心置办年夜饭。我却再也没有了伊始的新鲜劲。爸妈催我下去放炮，我懒洋洋的应着，却懒得挪窝儿。鞭炮的“规格”也由小花炮升级成了“大块头”的礼花。嫣然的烟花在眼前转瞬即逝，那片刻的璀璨亦如我的心莫名失落……恍惚间，我感觉自己仿佛在不经意间失去了什么。
