Balzac once said artistic creation was xxxan exhausting strugglexxx. He believed that only by tenacious work and fearing not afraid of difficulties could you show your talent. It was just like the soldiers the fortress, not relaxing your effort for even a moment.

Once Balzac wrote for hours on end, he was so tired that he could not hold out any longer. He ran to a friend's home and headlong on the sofa. He wanted to sleep, but he told his friend he must be woken up within an hour. His friend, seeing him so tired, did not wake him up on time. After he woke up, Balzac got very angry at his friend. his friend had an understanding of him and did not quarrel with him.

Balzac did not smoke cigarettes, nor did he drink any alcohol. But he got one habit: while he was writing,he always drank very strong coffee that could almost his stomach. He didn't add milk, nor did he add sugar in his coffee. It would not satisfy him until it was made bitter. People generally did not like to drink such bitler coffee. That had strange effect to him, and could help him drive the sleepiness away, according to himself.

Its my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today Id like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.

I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.

Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.

I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

Thank you everyone for listening to my dreams.

It said to a turtle that lived in the East Sea, xxxI am so happy! When I go out, I jump about on the railing beside the mouth of the well. When I come home, I rest in the holes on the broken wall of the well. If I jump into the water, it comes up to my armpits and holds up my cheeks. If I walk in the mud, it covers up my feet. I look around at the wriggly worms, crabs and tadpoles, and none of them can compare with me. Moreover, I am lord of this trough of water and I stand up tall in this shallow well. My happiness is full. My dear sir, why don't you come often and look around my place?xxx

Before the turtle from the East Sea could get its left foot in the well, its right knee got stuck. It hesitated and retreated. The turtle told the frog about the East Sea. xxxEven a distance of a thousand li cannot give you an idea of the sea's width; even a height of a thousand ren cannot give you an idea of its depth. In the time of King Yu of the Xia dynasty, there were floods nine years out of ten, but the waters in the sea did not increase. ln the time of King Tang of the Shang dynasty there were droughts seven years out of eight, but the waters in the sea did not decrease. The sea does not change along with the passage of time and its level does not rise or fall according to the amount of rain that falls.

The greatest happiness is to live in the East Sea.xxx

After listening to these words, the frog of the shallow well was shocked into realization of his own insignificance and became very ill at ease.

An old woman having lost the use of her eyes, called in a physician to heal them, and made this bargain with him in the presence of witnesses:

That if he should cure her blindness, he should receive from her a sum of money; but if her infirmity remained, she should give him nothing.

This agreement being made, the physician, time after time, applied his salve to her eyes, and on every visit took something away, stealing all her property little by little.

And when he had got all she had, he healed her and demanded the promised payment.

The old woman, when she recovered her sight and saw none of her goods in her house, would give him nothing.

The physician insisted on his claim, and. as she still refused, summoned her before the judge.

The old woman, standing up in the court, argued: xxxthis man here speaks the truth in what he says; for i did promise to give him a sum of money if i should recover my sight:

But if i continued blind, i was to give him nothing.

Now he declares that I am healed. I, on the contrary affirm that I am still blind; for when I lost the use of my eyes, I saw in my house various chattels and valuable goods: But now, though he swears i am cured of my blindness, i am not able to see a single thing in it.xxx

Good morning, my dear teachers and friends!

As the saying goes: one minute on the stage takes ten years. If a person is very successful, not someone to give, not to fall from the sky. Is to rely on their own efforts, hard work. Can be mainly from the hard work of learning is not to doubt.

Each person#39;s ability is not born, but by their own hard work and come. For example, German mathematician, physicist and astronomer Gauss. He was very fond of learning from childhood, his life has made great contributions to science, but if he did not work hard to learn from his early age, he can not become a famous scientific giant. There is no achievement without hard work. There are a lot of examples of such examples, it can be said that every successful people have worked hard to learn, and strive to explore.

The key to learning is to learn and to dare to learn. If your desire is to be a person of honor and respect, but you are not willing to, or dare not to learn will ultimately be nothing. Madame Curie and her husband to radium to prove the existence of hardships, braving the danger may lose their lives, through their diligence and effort eventually extracted one tenth of a gram of pure radium chloride and accurately determined the atomic weight, confirmed the existence of radium. This is a very amazing fact. It was Mrs. Curie#39;s willing to do, do it confirmed the existence of radium. Therefore, in order to become a talented person, we must be willing to learn, dare to learn.

Some people say that those with the talent and achievement grew up as a child prodigy like us to have what Egypt the idea is wrong, they are genius, prodigy, not born, but from diligent study. Study hard is a genius, a prerequisite for child prodigy. By scientists, people are different in intelligence, but only a little difference. So, genius, prodigy is relying on people to learn and become the diligent.

Can come from diligent study, Newton, Einstein, Edison, Zheng Banqiao, Bai Juyi#39;s example can prove this point. There are many great men for the benefit of mankind, also made a great contribution. Such as the works of Li#39;s xxxcompendium of Materia Medicaxxx, he visited many places, through arduous efforts of 27 and wrote this masterpiece.

Dickens said that I have harvested, is my kind of under. Everyone has a chance to become a talented person, it is to see you go not to fight for this opportunity. Can come from diligence. We must work hard to as a middle school students, we should be more efforts.

Thank you!

One day he and his prairie chicken friend saw a beautiful bird soaring on the currents of air, high above the mountains. xxxOh, I wish I could fly like that!xxx said the eagle. The chicken replied, xxxDon't give it another thought. That's the mighty eagle, the king of all birds-you could never be like him!xxx And the eagle didn't give it another thought. He went on cackling and complaining about life. He died thinking he was a prairie chicken. My friends, you too were born an eagle. The Creator intended you to be an eagle, so don’t listen to the prairie chickens!

Primitive peoples believe that hair, nail clippings, and lost teeth remain magically linked to the owner even after they have been disconnected from his body. As any voodoo artist will tell you, if you want to grind someone into powder, you don't need to touch him at all. It's quite enough to stamp on a missing molar and let xxxcontagious magicxxx do the rest. This is why peoples all over the world traditionally hide lost body parts, lest they fall into the wrong hands.

American children's ritual of hiding lost teeth under their pillows probably derives distantly from this practice. But there is an obvious difference, for when Suzie conceals her baby milk-tooth, she fully expects it to be found, and by a good magician, not an evil one. Moreover, she expects to be paid for having surrendered it, and at the going rate. Nothing mare clearly suggests the blithe commercial gusto of our culture than this transformation of a fearful superstition into a cheery business transaction.

Because American children expect fair exchange for their lost teeth, it is likely that the tooth fairy ritual derives more immediately from the European, and particularly German, tradition of placing a lost tooth in a mouse or a rat folk belief governing this practice is that when a new tooth grows in, it will possess the dental qualities, not of the original, lost tooth, but of whatever creature finds it, so the creatures of choice would be those world-class champers, the rodents.

Thus the optimistic, xxxfair exchangexxx principle most likely started in Germany and was brought here by German immigrants. It was only left to America to replace the beneficent “tooth rat” with the more agreeable fairy and to replace the traditional hope of hard molars with our more characteristic hope of hard cash.

Disabled people are normal people, except that they can not see as much as we can, or they can not walk as fast as we can. Since they can not see as much, or they can not walk as fast, they need our help.

We can immediately do a long list of ways in which we can help them, for instance, Each student finds some one to help, in the neighborhood or the community. You can help them to cross the road. You can help pushing their wheel chairs. l Set up kind of organization. Collect some money. Use this money to help them, to buy them daily necessities, to help their children finish school. As they are disabled, it is more difficult for them to earn as much as normal people do. That’s why they usually need help in physical things. As they are disabled, they feel lonely. They think they are not as good as normal people. They easily become lonely, sad, disappointed. They easily lose hope of life. They need help more in spiritual things. They need people to chat with. They need people to encourage them to continue their lives. They need people to get rid of prejudices over them. Now, I would suggest, do whatever we can to help them. We can donate our pocket money. We can walk up to help the disabled to cross the street. We can make friends with the disabled by visiting them, by calling them, by emailing them, by whatever means. However, don’t always think we are better than the disabled. As normal people, we always make normal mistakes.

We take it for granted that we can see things while the blind can not. If you know the story about Helen Keller, you will understand why you are wrong. The blind can not see with their bare eyes, but they can see better with their ears. They can see better with their hands. So, help the disabled while you treat them like normal people. And they are normal people!
