在实践教学中，我仍然非常重视英语听读写三大基础技能的培养和提高：首先是听，坚持一周两次的课内统一听力训练，并对听后的难点疑点进行及时的解析，同时结合周报和双语报对学生进行听力训练。二是读，*日我鼓励学生勤做阅读，周报双语报讲解时也重点突出阅读部分的解析，并对当中优美的词段句进行朗读，背诵和默写，为以后的写作做好积累工作。三是写，众所周知，写作水*最能体现一个英语学习者的语言水*。所以在写作方面我投入了大量的精力，除了日常教学中的课文和阅读积累，我还经常挑选精美的'范文给学生研读，并背诵默写。坚持一周一篇写作，每次写作都单独分析，并要求二次作业，对优秀的文章还要精选展览，所以现在所教的两个班级学生已不再对书面表达有惧怕感，大多数同学对自己的作文都很有信心，这一措施还大大的激发了学生的写作热情，提高了英语学习的积极性。
2、后进生转化
针对后进生这一特殊群体，一是上课继续勤加关注，经常抽问他们和他们周围同学问题，督促他们上课注意力集中。二是课后勤查作业，跟踪后进生重点对象，定期与不定期相结合检查他们的作业落实情况，及时加以督促，鼓励和辅导。三是搞好师生关系，常言道：亲其师方能信其道。所以课余时间我也利用在校时间，捕捉时机与他们建立良好的师生关系。就目前的学习情况看来，两个班英语学困生目标明确，任务也很艰巨，但是大家都在默默加油，努力迎头赶上。
3、自我提高
作为一名教师，不仅需要努力地工作，更需要积极参加素质教育的实践，不断地学习，不断的更新教育理念，不断的提高自己。虽工作已近16年，但在教育教学工作方面仍然有着各式各样的困惑与不解。所以在工作之余，我认真阅读各类教育教学著作，杂志和刊物，总结自身教学，在备好课的同时也备好学生，努力做到经常反思，不断总结。课后我积极参与听课、评课，虚心向同行学习教学方法，博采众长，提高教学水*。*时除了备课，上课批改作业之外，我还不断研究大量试题，根据自己所教学生的实际情况精选出好题，给学生展示，让学生训练。今年四月份我荣幸的担任了学校组织的青年教师课堂教学竞赛的评委，在认真听课评课的同时不忘进行比较，反思，以促进自己的教学。

一、构建在新课程条件下“多媒体优化组合”的英语课堂教学模式。
“多媒体优化组合”构建的课堂教学模式，就是运用这种心理学的感观原理的理论，应用于英语教学的一种实践。
传统的英语教学模式，教师在整个教学过程中，就是灌输抽象、刻板的规则，用“条款化的语言”来描述具有审美载体的、形象生动的语言，不言而喻，这样的教学手段，不适应时代的快节奏，不利于开发学生的智力，不利于培养开拓型人才，不利于学生素质的全面发展。
布鲁纳说过：“学习的刺激是对所学教材的兴趣”，对学生来说“兴趣”将直接影响学习效果。因此，我在课堂上运用以电教为主体的“多媒体优化组合”课堂教学模式，使教学资料的表现形式变得新颖而引人入胜，充分调动学生的学习用心性，使学生对学习产生浓厚的兴趣。
二、开启学生创造性思维潜力，培养良好的学生素质
新大纲明确指出：中学英语教学的目的是“透过听、说、读、写训练，使学生获得英语基础知识和交际初步运用英语的潜力，激发学生的学习兴趣，养成良好的学艺打情，为进一步学习打好基础，发展学生的思维潜力和自学潜力”。众所周知，在诸多潜力素质中，创造思维潜力是促成其他潜力构成的核心机制。
传统的英语教学模式培养的是僵化的思维定势，它桎梏着学生的创造力。因此，我在课堂教学上能注重全方位地、多元化地调动学生的视觉、听觉、动觉，多层地启发学生、引导思维、拓宽思维境界、引发发散性思维，使思维的广阔性、深刻性、独立性、敏捷性等方面得到训练，从而发展了学生的创造潜力，培养出良好的学生素质，到达教育的最终目标。
三、利用学科的优势，培养学生良好的人格，陶冶学生美的情操
教学过程，实际上是学生在教师指导下的认识过程。学生是认识的主体，知识的掌握和潜力的培养只能在主体自己相应的用心自觉活动中才能构成。在教学上我不仅仅是教师，而且是魔术师，运用直观的现代的教学手段，使语言教学从单调的文字描述中*出来，在学生面前展现的是文字、语音、形象、色彩这一新奇的美，这种美感会吸引学生注意力，从而激发浓厚的学习兴趣。——“激发学生的学习兴趣”是新大纲中新列入的教学目的。
同时，我也是导演，导演出一幕幕场景；是画家，用斑谰的色彩展开生动的画面；是导游，引导学生在语言的海洋中漫游……这种全方位展示着的英语教师气质的美，就是一个强有力的磁场，吸引着学生，给他们一个愉悦的环境，使他们对课堂产生审美情感，使他们获得美的陶冶，从而使整个教学过程处在美的环境中，产生良性循环，增加学生学习的活力。
四、深入研究教育教学理论，使教学更加贴合学生的年龄特征和身心特点。
