Her only weakness is that in courses that she felt were less suited to her interests, she did not study has hard as she would perhaps have been able to do. I noticed that her performance was less than satisfactory in both statistics and calculus. This surprised me because Janet has strong quantitative skills as demonstrated in my international economics course. Her performance in this class was exceptional.
Janet perhaps stands out most with regard to her extracurricular activities. She was a varsity table tennis team player all four years she was a student at ABC. She represented the university in a national collegiate table tennis tournament each year. In1990, she received a silver medal in the women“s singles tournament, and in1991, she received fourth place in a women”s doubles tournament. Janet was also a member of the university“s debate team. As a freshman, she received the award for best debater in the intramural freshman debate cup. As I recall, she was also an editor of her department”s journal.
Janet has strong analytical, research and writing skills. I am very happy to see that Janet has had such a successful career development since her graduation from ABC. I believe that Janet will succeed in whatever endeavors she applies herself to and heartily recommend her to your university.

有一类公告是属于专业性的或向特定对象发布的，如经济上的招标公告，按国家专利法规定公布申请专利的公告，属专业性公告;也有按国家民事诉讼法规定，法院递交诉讼文书无法送本人或代收人时，可以发布公告间接送达，是向特定对象发布的，这些都不属行政机关公文。
行政机关公文中的公告，具有如下特点：
一是内容重要。
公告宣布的内容是重要事项或法定事项。如公布宪法，宣布我国将向太平洋发射运载火箭试验。专业性公告不具有这种特点。
二是对象广泛。
一般公文发送对象都是特定的地区、单位或个人，而公告的对象则是国内外，有时甚至通过_用登报、广播的形式向全国、全世界发布。
三是制发机关级别高。
公告一般是由较高级别的国家领导机关，或者授权_制发的。基层单位不能滥用公告。报纸上常见到××单位迁移地址，××公司聘请×××为法律顾问，也用“公告”，都是滥用“公告”。
公告是一种严肃庄重的公文，它内容单一，篇幅较短，或篇段合一，或分条列点，表达直截了当，语言简洁明快。
(一)标题。
公告标题有三种：一是完全式标题，包括发文机关、事由和文种;二是省去事由，只写发文机关和文种;有的只有文种，如《公告》。标题之下，有时可依公告单独编号。
(二)正文。
公告的正文一般由依据、事项和结语组成。
开头要简明扼要地写出公告的依据，有时也可以不写。
告知性公告，事项简单，用篇段合一写出。规定性公告，事项较多，可分条列点写出。
公告的结尾一般用“现予公告”、“特此公告”作结语，也可以提出要求作结尾。也可不写结语。
(三)落款和日期。
公告日期有的注在标题下方，也可注在正文末尾落款处。重要的公告落款处除注明发文机关和日期外，还标明发布地点。
使用要求
目前，公告的使用比较混乱，主要有两种情况：一是把公告当作“启事”、“声明”、“广告”用，望文生义，以为“公告”就是公开告知有关事项，如声明某业务与本单位无关，揭露有人冒充某报记者行骗，也用“公告”;二是“公告”代行“通告”，凡公布性事项，事无巨细都用“公告”，甚至街道告知居民领取物价补贴也用“公告”。使用公告必须以“公告适用于向国内外宣布重要事项或者法定事项”的有关规定来衡量，避免公告滥用。

I can feel her aspiration about learning Economics. She is really good at communicating and I felt comfortable and easy to talk to her. She can always put herself in other’s shoes and you will be understood during the communication very well.
