1、文章精短简练
自荐信一般都有字数限制，常规的要求一般是800-1500字之间，在如此小的篇幅里，考生只能重点展示自己的闪光点，凡是能在报名材料中体现的东西，不需全部阐述。
如果想要突出自己以上某一个方面的特点，可以着重介绍自己为了获得XX而付出的一些努力及后续的一些感悟体会。
2、清楚了解高校对自荐信的具体要求
虽然以上介绍的4个部分内容基本可以满足大部分院校对自荐信的要求，但是还有少部分高校对于自荐信的字数、具体框架、是否手写还有特殊要求。

3、文章段落清晰，层次分明，无错别字
